Family Volunteer Day 2019

Family Volunteer Day, an initiative of generationOn and HandsOn Network, is a day of service that demonstrates the power of families coming together to impact their communities through volunteering. Celebrated annually on the Saturday before Thanksgiving, the day "kicks off" the holiday season with giving and service. Join HandsOn Broward as we celebrate Family Volunteer Day 2019 with Long Key Natural Area and Nature Center. Families who volunteer at Long Key will work on various projects throughout the natural area to restore the natural habitat and improve the site for visitors. Projects include pulling weeds, planting, invasive plant removal and air potato removal.
