Town of Pembroke Park

Alleviate the effects of the Food Desert in Pembroke Park, FL, and mitigate this food access deficiency, by promoting a Food Forest Garden that will augment fresh fruit and vegetables available to the Town’s citizenry. The Food Forest Garden will be used ultimately to produce nutritional healthy foods, provide educational opportunities on organic and permaculture farming best practices, to be more self-reliant, and to offer wellness program and fun educational learning experiences/events for all the family.
