Pembroke Park Community Garden PICK

Volunteers are needed to help Pembroke Park’s Community Garden strive with healthy vegetable and herb plants. Volunteers will be pulling weeds, placing mulch, clearing, harvesting, mixing soil, planting, watering, composting, placing plant IDs. Volunteers may go home with vegetables and herbs from the garden. We expect to upkeep a variety of vegetable and herb plants grown into 24 raised beds, 12 hydroponic beds, and grow bags.


Pembroke Park’s Community Garden was created to produce healthy food, educate others to be more self-reliant, and to have a fun project for the whole family and community.

  • 25 volunteers maximum
  • Under 16 with Adult supervision

Please wear closed-toe shoes, clothes that can get dirty, sun hats, sunglasses.

The town will have bottled water. Bring a reusable bag to take home a few vegetables.
