DIY Volunteer Project: New Mom Kit
WestCare The Village South’s mission is to improve the health and well being of individuals, families, and their communities impacted by substance abuse, mental disorder, and other related social problems.
For this month's DIY Project, volunteers are being asked to collect items and assemble New Mom Kits for the incoming new mothers and their babies being served at WestCare The Village South.
Difficulty Level: Easy
PLEASE FOLLOW ALL STEPS (missing steps will delay hours verification process):

- Fill Out the DIY Documentation Form (THIS STEP IS REQUIRED)
- Mail or drop off your completed project to HandsOn Broward
** For all DIY Projects, you do not need to wait for confirmation.
Once you have expressed interest and accessed the instructions (above under "2"), you are free to begin the project and submit upon completion.
DIY collection will be held on the following dates:
April 30, 2024, 9:30AM - 12:00PM
May 2, 2024, 9:30AM - 12:00PM
May 6, 2024 12:00PM - 4:00PM
May 9, 2024, 9:30AM - 12:00PM
The last day to drop off the New Mom Kits will be Thursday, May 9, 2024
*Late DIY Project submissions will not be accepted*
Age Minimum (with Adult): 5+, Minimum Age:13+, Court Ordered Volunteer - Allowed
