Shamrock Run
The Shamrock run is a 4-mile event that takes place in Downtown Fort Lauderdale in conjunction with the Fort Lauderdale Irish Festival and Parade. Race proceeds benefit the Irish Committee who uses the money to purchase new musical instruments for the local high school marching bands each year. Volunteer tasks include - assisting with post-race food preparation, finisher medal distribution, course water stop set up and distribution, and finish line water distribution.
