Feeding the Hungry at Jubilee Center (2022)
Jubilee Center in Hollywood serves approximately 170 clients every weekday. Volunteers are needed to prepare and serve food and assist in cleaning up after the meal, from 8 AM - 1 PM. (Meal will be provided to volunteers.) You must wear closed toe shoes and please do not bring cell phones, ear phones or valuables that would need safekeeping. Please ring the doorbell when you arrive and we will admit you and get you signed in. COVID-19 VOLUNTEER PROTOCOLS: All volunteers are required to wear a face mask. You can wear your own, or Jubilee will provide one for you. If you are able to increase your impact, Jubilee Center is always accepting food donations that you can bring with you. Pantry boxes are distributed to local families in need and a current food shortage has reduced the frequency of boxes they are able to distribute. Here are the current food needs: canned meats (for example, beef stew, tuna, Spam, chicken, salmon) soup pasta spaghetti or tomato sauce applesauce cereal rice beans canned vegetables canned fruit Sorry No Court Ordered Volunteers Allowed
