Kitchen & Pantry Volunteers at LifeNet4Families
Volunteers are needed daily at LifeNet4Families as Kitchen Volunteers, Pantry Volunteers and Warehouse Volunteers.
Kitchen Volunteers
- Serve hot food into food trays from the steam table in the kitchen.
- Make snack lunch bags (200) per day for clients with fresh food, snack items and drinks.
- Serve trays to clients.
Pantry Volunteers
- Make food boxes containing non-perishable food for clients.
Warehouse Volunteers
- Sort mail and clothing in our warehouse
- General organization
Volunteers must wear closed toe shoes, long pants, clothes that you don't mind getting dirty. No shorts. No leggings or yoga pants. Volunteers must bring their own water. LifeNet4Families will provide hairnets, gloves, aprons, masks. Masks must be worn at all times. Volunteers will fill out Volunteer Application on first day, which is good for one year. Volunteers will watch orientation video on first day as well.
LifeNet4Families is an organization that provides stability for people in Broward County who are experiencing hunger, homelessness and poverty. We provide hot meals, shelf stable pantry goods, rental assistance, SNAP benefits and more to those who are homeless and financially insecure.
Age Minimum (with Adult): 16+, Minimum Age:17+, Court Ordered Volunteer - Allowed
