DIY Volunteer project: Superhero Cape Book Bundle

HandsOn Broward’s Literacy League is passionate about helping students develop a love and excitement for reading which will in turn help set them up for educational success throughout their schooling. During the 2022-2023 school year, Broward County Public Schools will be launching the “Broward Super Reader” initiative to support students in achieving and surpassing their grade’s reading level. Superhero capes made by volunteers will be given to students during these guest reading opportunities to assist students in building their own home libraries and continue reading at home. Our hope is to inspire children to use their imaginations and encourage their love for literacy through creative play!

** For all DIY Projects, you do not need to wait for confirmation. Once you have expressed interest and accessed the instructions, you are free to begin the project and submit upon completion.
