Poverello Thrift Store Volunteers (Pompano Beach)
Volunteer are needed at Poverello’s Thrift Store. Volunteers will be assisting with receiving donations, processing donations to move to floor, cleaning and organizing merchandise on floor, etc. The thrift store drives funds to support the Poverello Center’s food distribution to the community. Volunteers must wear closed toed shoes, no tank tops, no holes or rips in clothing.
The Poverello Center, Inc. provides nutritious food, services and basic living essentials with the highest degree of understanding, respect and love for individuals living with critical and chronic illnesses, including HIV, in South Florida.
COVID-19 VOLUNTEER PROTOCOLS:
- Volunteers if not vaccinated, we suggest you to wear Face Masks over mouth and nose
- Must keep 6-feet apart
ALL VOLUNTEERS MUST bring ID with you as proof, as it will be required and must be 18 years or older.
Volunteers who wish to volunteer will be required to officially register with Poverello before to volunteering. Volunteers can apply in person for fill out the Volunteer application, Monday thru Thursday between 9am to 3pm or can get application by clicking here to download a copy and send with ID and DOB to our volunteer department at volunteer@poverello.org. Volunteer under age 18 years old MUST be with parents or legal guardian to volunteer which required an application as well.
