Best Buddies Friendship Walk
The Best Buddies Friendship Walk is the leading walk in the country supporting inclusion for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities (also known as IDD).
Volunteers are needed to assist with the Best Buddies 2025 Friendship Walk! We expect over 500+ Best Buddies in South Florida supporters to attend, and need your help in ensuring the event is inclusive and fun for participants of all ages and abilities!
Volunteers Responsibilities
- Volunteer activities will include but are not limited to event set up, event registration and check in, serving food during the event, general support throughout the event, and event breakdown.
- Volunteers are needed for the day of the event, April 26th from 6:30 AM to 1:30 PM and the day prior to the event on April 25th 11 AM to 4PM
- We will host a Teams Meeting to discuss all details about the walk on Wednesday April 23rd. All info will be sent out to volunteers by the Opportunity Coordinator, Mika Bastien.
Dress Code
All volunteers will be given a Best Buddies T-shirt, please dress comfortably for outdoor weather; a hat may make you more comfortable and sunscreen is always advised when working outdoors!
