DIY Volunteer Project: Hunger Action Totes
The Pantry of Broward delivers nutritional food packages to over 600 clients, assists them in applying for affordable housing, supports grandparents seeking legal custody of their grandchildren, and provides individualized assistance as needed. Each month, The Pantry of Broward serves over 600 seniors and grand-families, providing food boxes containing both perishable and non-perishable nutritious items.
September is Hunger Action Month! To commemorate this month, volunteers are encouraged to purchase and/or collect items for and assemble Hunger Action Totes for the individuals and families served by The Pantry of Broward.

PLEASE FOLLOW ALL STEPS (missing steps will delay hours verification process):

- Fill Out the DIY Documentation Form (THIS STEP IS REQUIRED)
- Mail or drop off your completed project to HandsOn Broward
** For all DIY Projects, you do not need to wait for confirmation.
Once you have expressed interest and accessed the instructions (above under "2"), you are free to begin the project and submit upon completion.
DIY collection will be held on the following dates
September 4 - 9:30AM to 12:30PM
September 9 - 12:30PM to 4:00PM
September 10 - 9:30AM to 12:30PM
September 18 - 9:00AM to 12:00PM
September 27 - 9:30AM to 12:00PM
The last day to drop off the Hunger Action Totes will be Friday, September 27, 2024.
*Late DIY Project submissions will not be accepted*
