2024 Florida AIDS Walk- Site Operations
This year's Florida AIDS Walk is a 5 Kilometer walk along beautiful Fort Lauderdale Beach. Volunteers are needed to help staff this very popular event, which includes a post-walk music festival!
Site Operations volunteers will be based at the Festival site. Morning volunteer with site setup and general operations, sponsor/vendor load in, Festival water station and general Festival area set up and execution. Afternoon volunteers will assist with Festival site maintenance, Water Station, site cleanup and breakdown.
Qualifications:
- Heavy lifting in sand
- Standing for long periods of time
- High level of activity
- Repeated lifting of 10-30 lbs.
**Important Note: All volunteer needs for the 2023 Florida AIDS Walk will be outdoors. Volunteers and participants are expected to observe best practices for COVID safety as dictated by CDC recommendations and local jurisdictional requirements. Please consider your heat tolerance when determining which volunteer opportunities are best for you.
