DIY Volunteer Project: Military Care Packages
In honor of this year’s upcoming Veteran’s Day (Nov. 11), HandsOn Broward would like to show support to active duty Military Heroes through this month’s Do It Yourself project. The recipient of the Military Care Packages is the Military Heroes Support Foundation (MHSF). Join us as we help serve those who serve our country by fulfilling the MHSF’s mission of providing our military veterans direction and support in achieving an effective transition during their deployment and return home and to provide our service members with the tools needed to be safe and successful.

PLEASE FOLLOW ALL STEPS (missing steps will delay hours verification process):

- Fill Out the DIY Documentation Form (THIS STEP IS REQUIRED)
- Mail or drop off your completed project to HandsOn Broward (5815-A North Andrews Way, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33309)
** For all DIY Projects, you do not need to wait for confirmation.
Once you have expressed interest and accessed the instructions (above under "2"), you are free to begin the project and submit upon completion.
DIY collection will be held on the following dates:
October 4, 2023 9:00 AM - 1:00 PM
October 11, 2023 12:00 PM - 4:00 PM
October 12, 2023 9:00 AM - 1:00 PM
October 17, 2023 12:00 PM - 5:00 PM
October 30, 2023 9:00 AM - 1:00 PM
The last day to drop off Military Care Package will be Monday, October 30, 2023
