Volunteer Days at The Fruitful Field
Volunteer Opportunity: There are plenty of places to help in our urban garden. Prepping nursery and fields, seeding, planting, weeding, and harvesting to name a few! During the season (late Oct-mid April), you might even help us prepare produce for market sales!
We welcome you to join us on Wednesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays, from 8:00 am 11:00 pm.
Please come prepared with gloves, sunscreen, a hat, and a water bottle. We will have an activity for you. We offer community service hours.
Children under 13 should be accompanied by an adult. Individuals and groups are welcome!
We grow food for our Garden Share program and more importantly, almost 50% of what we grow is distributed to families in need of fresh food, soup kitchens, and food pantries!
