Amazing Diaper Distribution

BHSC is a non-profit 501(c) 3 organization established in 1991 to assist expectant mothers and fathers with reducing and preventing poor birth outcomes and promoting safe infant care and child development in Broward County. Our mission is to promote the health and well-being of women, infants, and families to achieve a successful pregnancy and a healthy start in life. Healthy Start is very active in the community and host FREE events throughout the year that offer education, support, and resources to expecting women and parenting families in preparation of their journey of parenthood.

Broward Healthy Start and Miami Diaper Bank are partnering to provide clean diapers to babies and their families throughout Broward County. Volunteers are needed to assist with distribution in the following tasks: set-up (unloading truck filled with diapers pull-ups, and wipes, setting tables and tents. etc.), distributing diapers (drive-thru passing out appropriate sizes addressed on car windshield) Walk-ups (fulfilling walk up orders), greeting, traffic control (directing traffic as cars enter and maintaining the flow throughout the car distribution line), break down and clean up. Refreshments and snacks will be provided for volunteers and staff.
