Meal Packing with City of Oakland Park
HandsOn South Florida is thrilled to partner with the City of Oakland Park and Farm Share to combat food insecurity at a time when rising costs are making groceries harder to access. Through this impactful collaboration, we are ensuring that homebound individuals and seniors receive essential meal kits every month—delivered straight to their doors.
We need passionate volunteers like you to make it happen. Join us in packing meal kits that will directly support over 100 households in need. Your time and effort will provide nourishment and relief to those who need it most.
Volunteer Details:

When: 10:00 AM - 11:00 AM

Where: This volunteer opportunity takes place in a warehouse. While fans will be running, it can get hot. Please dress accordingly and bring plenty of water.

What’s involved: Light to moderate lifting and/or bending may be required.
