DIY Volunteer Project: Welcome Home Baskets

The TaskForce Fore Ending Homelessness is a non-profit that serves the homeless population of Broward County. The organization achieves its mission through street outreach, advocacy, referrals to shelters and food pantries, as well as referring those who need additional support from mental health & substance abuse programs. The group also focuses on helping displaced people find affordable housing programs throughout the county.
HandsOn Broward volunteers will help TaskForce collect much needed essential hygiene items for those who have become displaced. By repurposing old t-shirts, volunteers will create reusable bags and fill the bags with various hygiene items.

4. Mail or drop off your completed project to HandsOn Broward

** For all DIY Projects, you do not need to wait for confirmation.
Once you have expressed interest and accessed the instructions (above under "2"), you are free to begin the project and submit upon completion.

DIY collection will be held on the following dates:
Tuesday February 21^st 12:00 PM- 5:00 PM
Tuesday March 7^th 12:00 PM- 5:00 PM
Thursday March 9^th 9:00 AM- 1:00 PM
The last day to drop off your welcome home baskets is March 9th.
