Human Race South Florida 2016
The Human Race 5k is a fundraising event hosted by HandsOn Broward to support valuable humanitarian programs that strengthen nonprofits and neighborhoods through the power of volunteerism. The 3rd Annual Human Race will kick off HandsOn Broward's 2016 Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Celebration Weekend on January 16, 2016. Volunteers are needed to help make this year’s race at Charnow Park in Hollywood a success!
The race will consist of 3 different time shifts.
Time shift 1: 5AM - 7AM - Setup Volunteers
-setup, registration area, concession area, marketplaces tables and chairs, banners, course and help vendors set up their areas if necessary.
Time shift 2: 7AM- 9:30AM - Concession Volunteers
-work concession pavilion, passing out snacks and beverages to runners/walkers until end of race.
Time shift 3: 6:30AM - 9:30AM - Registration and Water Volunteers
-intake runners, collect payment, pass out race packets, t-shirts, bibs and pins, pass out water, cheer on runners
