2020 Fort Lauderdale A1A Marathon - Volunteers Needed
Publix A1A Marathon and Half Marathon presented by Colavita From The Florida Keys to Daytona Beach, the Publix A1A Marathon and Half Marathon presented by Colavita takes place in the perfect setting for runners. With ocean breezes, palm trees and one of the most famous roads in America, this 26.2-mile course is one of the fastest and scenic in the state. The Publix A1A Marathon and Half Marathon presented by Colavita features athletes from throughout South Florida, more than 40 states and 12 foreign countries competing annually in what has become the new signature event for the coastal area. Last year’s event featured over 4000 participants, and early registration for this year’s event is trending even higher. Don’t miss out!
Volunteers will operate and support 14 different water stop stations along the route. Each water stop will provide hydration to participants, encourage participants to hydrate and cheer runners along the route.
Volunteers will also assist at the Start and Finish Line, in the Food Tent, and handing out medals.
Qualifications:
- Standing for long periods of time
- High level of interaction with participants.
Age Minimum (with Adult): 14+, Minimum Age:16+, Court Ordered Volunteer - Allowed
