Broward AWARE Family Fun & Resource Fair
The Family Fun and Resource Fair culminates the Broward AWARE! Protecting OUR Children campaign in April, which is Child Abuse Prevention Month. Dozens of organizations provide resources and fun activities for children and families, including musical entertainment, educational mini-workshops, food and refreshments. All FREE!
Volunteers are needed for the following tasks:
Volunteers are needed for the following tasks:
- assist with set-up, including setting up tables, chairs, tents, registration table, pin-wheel gardens, water stations, etc.
- assist in maintaining water in the water coolers and ensuring the park is maintained and keeping communication open with the participants
- assist with serving lunch and collecting the tickets, as well as distributing and collecting surveys at the beginning and end of each mini-lecture.
- assist with the break-down of the event, taking down tables, chairs, tents, and storing them at the facility.
