Heal the Planet Day
Heal the Planet Day (HTPD) celebrates Earth Day by bringing together the South Florida community for a day of excitement and educational and family-friendly activities. The focus is on small local acts that have a huge global impact. HTPD will take place in Esplanade Park (400 SW 2nd St., Ft. Lauderdale) on Aprill 22nd, from 11-5.
Activities include:
Vegan Cooking Competition
How To Grow Your Own Resource Zone
SoFlo Vegans Speakers Corner
Kids Zone
Yello! Movement Zone
Conscious Vendor Village
Live Music
Volunteers will be needed throughout the day set-up, clean-up, assisting with workshops, assisting the chefs, and more. Volunteers are needed from 7:30AM-6PM, however there will be several shifts available in 3-4 hour increments.
Once you express interest, Stacey, will contact you to schedule your volunteer hours.
