Build a Garden for the HandsOn Broward Youth Gardening Program
All season long, HandsOn Broward will be building gardens at schools and community areas around Broward County!
Volunteer tasks include soil preparation, sprout planting with students, and general garden maintenance and beautification. No gardening experience is necessary, just a positive attitude and a desire to learn more about gardening in South Florida!
Please dress and prepare appropriately for outdoor work, including sunscreen, a hat, and closed-toe shoes.
Volunteers should bring any water and snacks they need.
Volunteers can sign up for any of the following:
-2/15: Windsor Park Preschool
-2/23: Our House in Dania, Inc.
-2/28: Plantation Elementary
-3/1: North Andrews Gardens Elementary
-3/7: Coconut Creek Elementary
-3/14: Cooper City Elementary
Please note: court-ordered volunteers are NOT permitted for this project.
