Stamp Out Hunger Benefiting Jubilee Center
On May 11th, local letter carriers will be collecting food donations during the Stamp Out Hunger Food Drive. The donations collected by the Miramar Post Office will be going to Jubilee Center of South Broward. Volunteers are needed to assist on this day. From 2:30pm-6:00pm, volunteers are needed at the Miramar Post Office to assist in unpacking the food items delivered by postal trucks and sorting and repacking for delivery to Jubilee. For the 7pm-9pm shift, once delivered to Jubilee by our truck, volunteers will be at Jubilee in Hollywood unpacking, sorting and shelving the food items. Heavy lifting is not a necessity for the first shift, though the evening shift will require some heavy lifting. You will get the location addresses when you sign up for the shift you are interested in.
