Bingo with Seniors at St. Nicholas, Pompano Beach
St. Nicholas Episcopal Church welcomes all senior citizens in the community to Bingo days in their hall. They offer a safe, inviting space for seniors to gather in friendship, fun -- and enjoy some companionship in the process.
Volunteers are instrumental in assisting parishioners and staff as their Bingo program grows. Volunteers can assist with calling Bingo, verifying cards, distributing food from the kitchen, and even the simple act of socializing with and assisting any seniors that may need help.
Volunteers are needed on Thursdays between 11 AM and 4 PM and Sundays between 12 noon and 6 PM. Volunteers must be 18 or over. Depending on your tasks, volunteers may be asked to undergo a background check. There is especially a need for volunteers who are willing to commit to 1-2 days on a consistent, monthly basis.
