When and Where Can I Volunteer?
The YREADS program currently operates in Plantation during the school year, from approximately 2:00 – 5:00 pm Monday through Friday. Volunteers are asked to commit to a minimum of 2 hours per week. Because consistency is important to our children, we ask that volunteers stay with the program for at least 3 months.
Volunteer Training
The comprehensive volunteer training will cover the program curriculum and strategies in working with children. You will also have webinars, refreshers, and the support of the YREADS Program along the way.
