DIY Volunteer Project - October 2013
Project: Felt Board Pieces / No-Sew Stockings
Universal Aid for Children's Ukraine Program currently serves thousands of orphaned and displaced children in the Odessa region. They offer a wide range of direct aid including food, clothing, hygiene supplies, medical care, psychological counseling and educational programs.The felt board pieces will benefit hundreds of institutionalized orphans with special needs. The stockings will be filled and distributed for Christmas to the orphaned young people that Universal Aid for Children cares for in Odessa, Ukraine.

- Scissors
- Two (2) pieces of 2/3-yard Fleece fabric (per stocking)
- Scissors
- Access to printer (for template)
How Can I Help?
Express Interest for yourself or your team below. Melissa will email you instructions and coordinate a time for your delivery of the final product. We ask that you complete a minimum of 10 items. There is no maximum. Confirmed volunteers will receive a minimum of 2 hours for completing the project as described and submitting it to us prior to 4 PM on Friday, November 8, 2013.
*Volunteers are responsible for purchasing/providing any of the materials needed for DIY volunteer opportunities.
