FRIENDS Ranch Clean-up (2013)
FRIENDS Ranch is in need of volunteers to come out and assist with the maintenance of this horse rescue facility. Volunteer tasks include interacting with the animals at the ranch and learning how to do ranch chores and horse care, i.e: stall cleaning, grooming, and bathing. Please be sure to dress appropriately and wear closed-toe shoes and clothes you don't mind getting dirty.
The Ranch hosts required new volunteer orientations on the first Saturday and third Sunday of every month at 1:00 PM before you can volunteer. So be sure that if you haven't volunteered with FRIENDS Ranch before, you sign up on one of those days first. This orientation will give you important work and safety information. Once you have attended the Ranch's orientation, volunteer hours are from 12-5 PM on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays, and Sundays - rain or shine.
If you have not volunteered for FRIENDS Ranch before, you will need to complete a volunteer waiver on your first day. Minors must have a parent or guardian there to sign the paperwork.
