2013 MLK Day Parade and Peace Rally
Volunteers will come together to participate in a community parade and rally for non-violence in honor of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.
The march will begin at Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Elementary School and finish at Dillard High School, where the Peace Rally and Battle of the Bands will take place.
Please note that the march begins at 10:30, but we are asking volunteers to arrive at 9:30 AM to make it easier to find parking and get signed in and ready to go.
Please be sure you either have transportation picking you up at Dillard OR that you don't mind walking back to MLK Elementary, where you have parked. The route is a little over a mile. Please bring a bottle of water with you if you think you will need one.
